I began singing in church at a very young age. I was doing solos by age 12. I acted and sang in productions in elementary and high school. I began modeling at three years old when my aunt took me to a large New Jersey department store to get photographed with Santa. A week later she got a call from them wanting to use my photo in a Christmas ad. I modeled through my teens.
I went to to Campbell University and sang in the college choir. I landed the role of Lt. Joe Cable in our college production of South Pacific. I sang the song, "Youʻve Got To Be Carefully Taught", which I reprised on this album. I really expanded my acting and singing talent in college. I returned to New York after graduation in 1971 and amazingly won an acting part on a day time drama. This lasted for five years. I changed course and moved to Houston to pursue music full time. I sang in Texas and Mexico for 26 years. Released two vinyl singles.
In 2003, I moved to Honolulu, and became a social worker doing outreach to the homeless for ten years. With the encouragement from the phenomenal singer and song writer Stephen Inglis, I started to sing again. Stephen did a duet with me on my album. I guess I’m not done yet after all.
Special thanks to world renowned acting coach Uta Hagen and voice coach, retired metropolitan opera star Helen Merritt.
